You stay in charge
The most important property is not in the list above: nothing is ever played automatically. Every request reaches you first and stays there until you approve it. A guest sees that their request arrived, not that it will be played — that distinction prevents most of the disappointment.
The same goes for paid requests. Paying buys attention, not a guarantee. If you reject something that was already paid for, you settle it however you want; the money sits in your own Mollie account, so you are never locked in.
