Who it's for

Let your guests set the vibe

Even without a resident DJ. Guests choose the music, you keep control — and earn along the way.

In a bar or café it is not about one night, it is about the mood day after day. Often there is no DJ at all: a playlist runs, and guests ask at the bar whether something else can go on. That costs your staff time and rarely produces a choice the rest of the room enjoys.

With a QR code on the tables and the bar, guests choose for themselves within the limits you set. Nobody bothers your bar staff about the music any more, and you get to see exactly what your regulars want to hear.

Sound familiar?

  • The same playlist, night after night
  • Staff having to manage the music in between everything else
  • Guests leaving early because the atmosphere fades

Here's how DJ Request solves it

Guests help choose

A QR on the table or bar and your crowd builds the soundtrack themselves. More engagement, more atmosphere.

Staff keep their hands free

No more fiddling with the music behind the bar. Requests flow automatically by your rules.

Longer stays, more revenue

A great atmosphere keeps guests around. And with paid requests, you earn from the music itself.

Setting it up in a bar or café

A venue is different from a party: it has to work with nobody supervising it.

  1. 1

    Leave the code up permanently

A card on every table or a sticker on the bar beats a temporary poster. Guests find it on their own, without any announcement.

  2. 2

Set different limits per part of the day

Quiet in the afternoon, louder at night. Create two events and switch between them instead of judging every request individually.

  3. 3

Make sure staff have nothing to do

The whole point is that nobody behind the bar has to discuss music again. Pointing at the code is enough.

  4. 4

Check the stats once a month

What your guests request tells you more about your crowd than any survey. Use it to steer your regular playlist.

Frequently asked questions about bars and cafés

Do I need a DJ to use this?

No. Plenty of bars run it without one: requests arrive on a tablet behind the bar and whoever is on shift approves them. It works just as well alongside an ordinary playlist.

Can guests request the same song all night?

You decide what gets approved, and duplicate requests are grouped together. Turn on paid requests and the behaviour disappears almost entirely.

What does it cost for a small café?

The free plan gives you 30 requests a month, which is often enough for a quiet venue. Above that, Pro starts at € 10 a month with 150 requests.
